On Aug 1, 2008 Jorge Teron made his debut on Shobox against the very tough and hard hitting Michael Lozada 29-4-1 (22ko's). Teron was defending his NABO Lightweight Title.

Teron set the pace early and landed numerous blows to the head of Lozada. Lozada was very game firing back and showing tremendous heart. At 1:35 of the 6th round Teron landed a vicious left hook to the body that sent Lozada to the canvas. Lozada just beat the count, but was greeted immediately by another barrage of punches . This time Teron landed another picture perfect hook that Lozada had no chance of recovering. Teron moves to 22-0-1 while Lozada drops to 29-5-1.
